What to Expect
How much time do I need to volunteer?
Some roles are for one-off events and therefore short term while others might need a longer commitment.
Will ICCM provide me with school volunteer hours?
Yes, our volunteer coordinator will sign your school form after you have completed your volunteer hours.
Will I get training?
The ICCM believes that training is vital for all of our volunteers. Training sessions will consist of 1-2 hours prior to your volunteering experience. Health and safety will be included in the training.
How old do I have to be to volunteer?
You must be 14 years old to volunteer with the ICCM. Any volunteer between the age of 14 and 18 (depending on your birthdate) must have their parents complete a Parent Consent Form prior to volunteering.
Can I volunteer together with my family or friends?
Yes, you can. Please ask the volunteer coordinator what opportunities there are to volunteer with family or friends.
